The Honourable Steven Point

In Celebration of National School Library Day and First Nations' literacy, the Carson Library hosted the Honourable Steven L Point, the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. His Honour addressed an assembly of approximately 800 people from the Carson community with a strong message in support of literacy. "Literacy is about sharpening your mind," he said, "sharpening your axe to cut down the trees of ignorance."
